Where to Have a Picnic in NYC

Whether you're visiting NYC for the first time or are a native New Yorker this may be your first picnic in this wonderful city.  And if this is true then you may be wondering where you can possibly hold your picnic.

Central Park


Central Park spans from the south end of 59th street to the northern end of 110th street. Bryant Park


Bryant Park is not as large as Central Park, but it's perfect for picnics. It's located between 40th and 42nd street (between 5th and 6th avenue).  It's open from 7:00am-11:00pm.  In the summer on Mondays it holds the Summer Film Festival, which features free movies in the park.  Now what would go better with that then a picnic basket full of goodies and some loved ones!  For the list of movies in the park and to learn more about the park visit www.bryantpark.org
