Where to Have a Picnic in NYC Whether you're visiting NYC for the first time or are a native New Yorker this may be your first picnic in this wonderful city. Bryant Park is not as large as Central Park, but it's perfect for picnics. It's located between 40th and 42nd street (between 5th and 6th avenue). It's open from 7:00am-11:00pm.
